Aquatic Leisure provides a range of tours and guided led trips for individuals and small groups at various locations along the south coast, whether you're on holiday, looking for an activity to explore the local coastal area, or a family looking for an adventure to do something different and explore the outdoors, canoeing and kayaking is a great activity which enables you to get up close to nature.

Studland Bay and Old Harry Rocks Guided Trip
Studland is a small village on the Isle of Purbeck with four miles of natural sandy beaches and sand dunes, shallow clear waters and is a very popular location with both locals and holiday makers. The beaches at Studland are part of and cared for by the National Trust.
​
Starting At Knoll Beach you'll paddle along the coastline towards Old Harry Rocks taking in the breathtaking views of a coastline steeped in history. We will explore the rocks around Old Harry Rocks and land to stretch our legs before paddling back to Knoll Beach.
For those with more experience and looking for a longer paddling adventure we can go out for the day and paddle to Swanage.

Studland Bay is Sheltered by the Cliffs of Ballard Down providing calm waters for your to enjoy during your paddling adventure.

Sessions: AM - 09.30 to 12.30 Hrs / PM - 13.30 - 16.30 hrs £40.00 pp / Full Day Knoll Beach to Swanage & Return £70.00 pp
(Tides & weather permitting, age 12 yrs plus) (Summer time only - April till October)

Kayaking adventures are regularly organised between April and October each year, if there is a date which you would like to go kayaking which is not listed above, please contact us be email or phone to discuss your paddling requirements.

During the colder months we still go kayaking but tend to use sit in kayaks rather than sit on tops, this helps to keep our clients warmer, if you would like to go paddling between November and March we will accommodate you where we can, the session will be weather and sea conditions dependant.

Poole Harbour and Islands Guided Trip
Poole Harbour is the 2nd largest natural harbour in the world and has a number of islands including Brownsea Island which is maintained by the National Trust. Poole harbour has a commercial area around Poole Quay and many other tranquil and natural areas like Bramble Bush Bay.
​
We will launch and return From the beach on the harbour side of Studland (near the Chain Ferry) in Bramble Bush Bay by the old boat houses, During our journey we will paddle past some of the Islands in Poole Harbour with the chance to land on Brownsea Island to stretch our legs.
For those wishing for a larger adventure we can spend the day exploring Poole Harbour.

River Stour Christchurch and Mudeford Harbour Trip - Details coming soon
The River Stour in Christchurch and within Christchurch Harbour is home to a large veriaty of wildlife and the mud flats on low tide make a good feeding ground for many birds, many area's around Christchurch Harbour are designated nature reserves.
​
Your instructor will meet you at the Mayor's Mead car park, once changed we will go through a safety briefing and some basic paddling tuition, we will get on the river and paddle down stream past the Quomps and Christchurch Quay where you'll have a waterside views of Christchurch Priory, founded on the site of a church in 800AD.
​
Sometimes we explore a little way up the River Avon on our left side if the group wish to see the other side of the Christchurch Priory, otherwise we continue down river towards Hengistbury Head passing Stanpit Marsh nature reserve on our left. We normally have a leg stretch at Hengistbury Head before making our return journey back to the get in.
