HSE Emergency First Aid at Work            This is an approved HSE first aid course, we can add additional topics to meet the training requirements for your

                                                                           employment or hobby, and the course can be run indoors or as an outdoor recreational course.  The EFAW training

                                                                           course will enable a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who becomes ill or injured whilst at work or whilst

                                                                           taking park in an outdoor activity.  This award is valid for 3 years.

                                                                           EFAW syllabus and also equips the first aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illness whilst at work or

                                                                           whilst taking part in an outdoor activity.  This award is valid for 3 years.

BCU Lifeguards Aquatic First Aid             This is a BCU Lifeguards 8hr First Aid award and also meets the requirements for BCU Coaching validation for Level 1 and 2

Level 1 - Eight hour award                          coaches. The course covers a number of first aid topics to enable the first aider or water sports instructor to give first aid to

                                                                           Someone who becomes injury or unwell, and is aimed at people working near water.  This award is valid for 3 years.

BCU Lifeguards Aquatic First Aid             This is a BCU Lifeguards 16hr First Aid award and meets the requirements for BCU Coaching validation for all coaches

Level 2 - Sixteen hour award                     and 4 star / 5 star leaders. The course covers a number of first aid topics to enable the first aider or water sports instructor

Currently not available                               to give first aid to Someone who becomes injury or unwell, and is aimed at people working near water. This award is valid

                                                                           for 3 years.  There is a large practical element to this award

                                              To help keep first aiders basic skills up to date it is strongly recommended that first aiders undertake annual refresher training.

                                      Before certificates expire, first aiders will need to undertake a re-qualification course as appropriate to obtain another 3 year certificate.

                                                                    Once certificates expire the first aider is no longer considered competent to act as a workplace first aider.
